Transicon becomes official sponsor of the Shropshire & Telford Manufacturing Festival

Here at Transicon we are delighted to have become an official sponsor of the Shropshire & Telford Manufacturing Festival.

We’ve joined the 2027 festival as a silver sponsor, strengthening our commitment to supporting the region’s industrial sector and the next generation of engineering talent - while also marking our own 60th anniversary.

The festival – part of the UK Manufacturing Festivals programme – brings together manufacturers, educators, skills partners and young people to showcase the breadth of modern industry across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.

We’re already looking forward to the 2026 event, which is being held at the SEAH Stadium in Wellington on November 25.

General Manager Jennifer Hughes said: “Since 1967, we have designed, built and supported bespoke automation control systems and special purpose machinery, working across a wide range of industries.

“No two projects are the same and it takes a proper mix of skills and backgrounds to deliver them.

“We do all of this here in Telford but a lot of what goes on locally isn’t always visible to young people.

“The manufacturing festival brings coachloads of potential future engineers in to see it for themselves, not just hear about it. We are delighted to join as a silver sponsor to support the development of the next generation of engineering talent.”

The 2027 festival will run throughout the year, with flagship events taking place across the region. More information is available through the link below.
